In November 2025, the Governor authorized formation of the Governor's Redistricting Advisory Commission. The Commission is to consider mid-cycle redistricting of Maryland's Congressional Districts. The Commission will organize public hearings, receive public comment, and make recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly to improve Maryland's Congressional Districts map and ensure that it is representative and fair.

Appointed by the Governor, the Commission consists of five members.
