Report to General Assembly due Dec. 31, 2021 (Chapter 597, Acts of 2021).

In July 2021, the Work Group on Home Detention Monitoring was established by the General Assembly (Chapter 597, Acts of 2021).

The Work Group is to study and make recommendations regarding the costs and availability of both publicly and privately provided pre–trial home detention monitoring systems.

Seventeen members constitute the Work Group. Eight members are appointed by the Governor, three by the Senate President, and three by the House Speaker. Three serve ex officio. The Senate President and House Speaker designate the Co-Chairs.
