Report to Governor & General Assembly due July 1, 2023 (Chapter 318, Acts of 2022).

In July 2022, the Workgroup on Black, Latino, Asian American Pacific Islander, and Other Underrepresented Behavioral Health Professionals was authorizd by the General Assembly (Chapter 318, Acts of 2022).

The Workgroup is to identify and study the shortage of behavioral health professionals in the State who are Black, Latino, Asian American Pacific Islander, or otherwise underrepresented in the behavioral health profession; and assess and make recommendations on incentives or other methods to increase their number.

Authorization for the Workgroup ends June 30, 2024.
