CIVISTA HEALTH SYSTEM
Reorganized as University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center on July 1, 2013.

COMMUNITY HOSPITAL INTEGRATION & INTEGRATED DELIVERY SYSTEMS OPERATIONS
Renamed Community Hospital Integration and Regional System Operations in Oct. 2000.

DEATON SPECIALTY HOSPITAL & HOME
Reorganized as University Specialty Hospital in Oct. 2001 following closing of its nursing home in July 2001.

University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus under University of Maryland Medical Center in June 2013.

NIGHTTIME PEDIATRICS NORTH
Under Baltimore Washington Medical System, sold to independent pediatric group in Aug. 2004.

PLANNING, MARKETING, & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Under University of Maryland Medical Center, renamed Business Development and System Strategies in 2010.

SHORE HEALTH SYSTEM
In July 2013, joined with Chester River Health System to form University of Maryland Shore Regional Health.

SPECIAL BEGINNING BIRTH & WOMEN'S CENTER
Under independent management since August 2007.

STRATEGIC PLANNING, PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT, & COMMUNICATIONS
Abolished in March 1999.

UNIVERSITY SPECIALTY HOSPITAL
University Specialty Hospital originated as Deaton Specialty Hospital and Home, Inc., which University of Maryland Medical System purchased from Christ Lutheran Church in July 1996. Deaton closed its nursing home in July 2001, and was renamed University Specialty Hospital in Oct. 2001. It closed in July 2012 when programs moved to Maryland General Hospital and James Lawrence Kernan Hospital.
