CASE PROCESSING DEPARTMENT
Under Operations, disbanded in Feb. 1998.

COMMERCIAL NONDISCRIMINATION UNIT
Under Office of General Counsel, Commercial Nondiscrimination Unit was organized in 2007.

Unit oversaw enforcement of State policy prohibiting discrimination by businesses and in State procurement contracts.

Discontinued by Oct. 2025.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH & EDUCATION UNIT
Abolished July 2005.

DATA MANAGEMENT
Under Administrative Services, renamed Management Information Systems in 1997.

EASTERN SHORE OFFICE
Closed in June 2016.

EASTON OFFICE
Closed in Aug. 2014.

EXPEDITED INVESTIGATIONS UNIT
Under Case Processing, renamed Investigations Units in Feb. 2014.

FIELD OFFICES UNIT
Renamed Field Operations Unit in 2000.

FIELD OPERATIONS UNIT
Under Case Processing Division, abolished in June 2016.

HOUSING UNIT
Under Case Processing Division, abolished in 2011.

HUMAN RESOURCES
Under Administrative and Support Services Division, functions transferred to Department of Budget and Management in Oct. 2015.

INTAKE UNIT
Under Operations, renamed Case Control and Mediation Unit in Sept. 1999.

INVESTIGATIONS UNIT
Under Administrative and Support Services Division, functions transferred to Expedited Invesigations Unit in Oct. 2012.

MEDIATION UNIT
Disbanded in Dec. 2013 after functions transferred to Case Processing Division.

OPERATIONS
Under Case Processing Division, abolished in July 2000.

PUBLIC AFFAIRS UNIT
Renamed Community Outreach and Education Unit in July 2000.

RECORDS CONTROL UNIT
Reverted to Intake Unit in 2005.
