Served in U.S. Navy (lieutenant), 1961-65. Mechanical engineer. Project engineer, E. I. DuPont Company, 1965-67. Plant engineer, National Brewing Company 1967-68. Senior Project Manager, NARDI Construction, Inc. President, National Association of State Facilities Administrators, 1988-89. Member, U.S. Naval Institute; American Institute of Plant Engineers; Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc. (BOCA); Maryland Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE). Faculty (part-time), Community College of Baltimore, 1973-77. Widower; three children, four grandchildren.
