JOINT COVID-19 RESPONSE LEGISLATIVE WORK GROUP

In March 2020, the Senate President and House Speaker convened the Joint Covid-19 Response Legislative Work Group.

The Work Group monitored the effects of the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus) in Maryland. Further, it supported the Governor and the Maryland Department of Health in their work to contain the coronavirus, and advised the General Assembly on any needed actions.

In April 2021, the Work Group concluded its work.
