Annual Report to Governor & Legislative Policy Committee due Dec. 31.

The Joint Committee on the Port of Baltimore was authorized in October 2000 (Chapter 509, Acts of 2000). The Committee was to examine and evaluate issues affecting the competitive position of the Port of Baltimore within the international port industry. Among issues that were to be examined are the regulations adopted by the State Board of Pilots, the State Board of Docking Masters, and the Maryland Port Commission (Code State Government Article, sec. 2-10A-07).

As of 2005, the Committee has never met.
