Chair, 12th Legislative District Democratic State Central Committee, 1982-86. Member, Democratic State Central Committee, Baltimore County, 1982-90 (chair, 1986-90). Chair, Rules Committee, Maryland Democratic Party, 1986-89. Delegate, Democratic Party National Convention, 1988. Treasurer, National Conference of Regulatory Attorneys Convention, 1988. Past president and member, Board of Directors, Revisions, Inc. (Catonsville), a psychosocial rehabilitation center. Board of Directors, Historical Old Salem, Inc.
