Founding member, Citizens Democratic Action Organization, 1975. Member, Baltimore City Democratic Central Committee, 1988-98 (vice-chair, 1994-98). Member, Pennies Against Drugs Campaign Committee, 1988-90. Member, 44th Legislative District Senatorial Scholarship Committee, 1994-98. Member, New Shiloh Baptist Church, Baltimore, Maryland. Two children. Died in Baltimore, Maryland, January 7, 2014.
