Member of Senate, October 2, 2002 to January 8, 2003.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, July 31, 1937. Served in U.S. Army Reserves, eleven years. Member, Baltimore County Democratic Central Committee, 1982- (chair, 1994-96, 2002-). Advisory Board, Workforce and Technology Center (formerly the Maryland Rehabilitation Center). Member, Sixth District Democratic and Civic Club; Fourteenth District Democratic Club. Former president, Fifth District Democratic Club. Past governor, Loyal Order of Moose, Gardenville Lodge #1242 (2nd degree moose fellowship). Member, St. Michael's Catholic Church. Widower; three children; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Died August 25, 2023.
