Born in Memphis, Tennessee, February 28, 1940. Attended Memphis public schools; Howard University. Served in U.S. Army. Safety Director, Joseph Smith and Sons, Inc. Delegate, Democratic Party National Convention, 2008. Founding member, Capital Centre. Charter member, Landover Kiwanis Club. Member, Ploughmen and Fishermen of Prince George's County; 24th District Democratic Alliance; Peppermill Village Citizens Association; Arlene Drive Block Club. Life member, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Trustee, Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church (president, cathedral choir; member, sons & daughters of allen). Married; two daughters. Died in Peppermill Village, Maryland, December 3, 2021.
