ELEVENTH GENERATION

1934. Joseph Adams was born about 1626 in Kingweston, Somerset, England. He died on Dec 6 1694 in Braintree, Massachusetts. Joseph Adams was a farmer and maltser. he was made a freeman in 1653 and was a selectman in 1673.

He was the great grandfather of President John Adams and the great great grandfather of President John Quincy Adams. He was married to Abigail Baxter on Nov 26 1650 in Braintree, Massachusetts.

1935. Abigail Baxter⁽¹⁷⁰⁾ was born in Sep 1634 in Roxbury, Massachusetts. She died on Aug 27 1692 in Boston, Massachusetts. Children were:

i. Hannah Adams was born on Nov 13 1652. She died on Sep 15 1726.
ii. Joseph Adams was born on Oct 24 1654. He died on Feb 12 1736/37.
iii. John Adams was born on Feb 13 1656/57. He died on Jan 27 1657.
iv. Abigail Adams was born on Feb 27 1658/59. She died on Oct 26 1696.
v. John Adams was born on Dec 20 1661. He died on Nov 2 1702.
vi. Bethia Adams was born on Dec 20 1661.
vii. Mary Adams was born on Sep 8 1663. She died young.
viii. Samuel Adams was born on Sep 3 1665. He died young.

x. Peter Adams was born on Feb 7 1669/70.
xi. Jonathan Adams was born on Jan 31 1771.
xii. Mehitable Adams was born on Nov 23 1673. She died on Oct 12 1713.
