3870. Gregory Baxter ⁽¹⁷⁰⁾ was born about 1607 in England. He died on Jun 21 1659 in Braintree, Massachusetts. Gregory Baxter's English origins are not known. He emigrated to Massachusetts in 1631. He was made a freeman on Mar 6 1631/2 and joined the Dorchester Church in either 1631 or early in 1632. He then joined the Roxbury church in 1632, after it was organized. he moved to Braintree some time around 1640.

He was a farmer and left acreage totaling 132 1/2 acres. The value of his estate was 417 pounds, 19 shillings. He was married to Margaret ---------- before Jun 1632.

3871. Margaret ---------- ⁽¹⁷⁰⁾. Children were:

i. Bethulia Baxter⁽¹⁷⁰⁾ was born in Jun 1632 in Roxbury, Massachusetts. She died on Jan 3 1649/50.
1927 ii. Abigail Baxter.
iii. John Baxter⁽¹⁷⁰⁾ was born in Sep 1639 in Roxbury, Massachusetts.
