391 Whereupon the said Samuel by Jeremiah Chase his attorney afs.d prays Judgment and those Damages so acknowledged together with his Costs and Charges by him about his suit in this part laid out and Expended to him to be adjudged Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the said Samuel do Recover against the said Daniel his Damages afs.d to Eleven Hundred and Seventy Seven Pounds of Tobacco above acknowledged as also the sum of Pounds of Tobacco for his Costs & Charges by him about his suit in that Part laid out and Expended on his assent by the Def.t in Mea Court here adjudged and the said Daniel in Mercy &Ca
It was Commanded the Sheriff that he should take Peter Dent late of Charles County Planter if &C.a and him safe keep so that he should have his body before the Justices of the Lord Proprietary of his Next County Court to be holden at Charles Town the second Tuesday in March Next to Answer unto Daniel Stephenson of a plea of Trespass upon the Case and so forth and that he should have then and there that Writt &Ca And now here at this day to wit the second Tuesday in March afs.d Comes the afs.d Daniel by Jeremiah Chase his attorney afs.d and offers himself against the said Peter in the Plea afs.d and the sheriff afs.d Namely Thomas Hungerford Gent Returns to the Court here that the said Peter in his Bailywick is not found and that he hath Left according to the Directions of the Act of Assembly in those Cases late made and Provided a Copy of the following Account Vizt D.r M.r Peter Dent his acc.t with Mr Daniel Stephenson C.r
