(342) March Court Anno Domini 1747 Pence ^Three Farthings^ Currency for divers arti^c^les lying Properly in an account as by the particular Account thereof herewith into Court brought may appear and being so thereof Indebted in Consideration the afs.d Robert Whythill in Consideration thereof afterwards to wit the day and year afs.d at the County afs.d upon himself assumed and to the said Cornelius then and there faithfully Promised that he the afs.d Robert Whythill the afs.d Sum of Eight pounds Ten Shillings and Eleven pence Three farthings Currency to the s.d Cornelius when thereunto afterwards he should be Requested well and truly would Content and Pay Nevertheless the afs.d Robert his Promise and Assumption afs.d not Regarding but minding and fraudulently Intending the same Cornelius in his part craftily and Subtilly to deceive and defraud the afs.d Robert the said sum of Eight Pounds Ten shillings and Eleven pence Three farthings Currency or any part thereof to the same Cornelius hath not paid nor him for the same in any sort Contented altho the afs.d Robert Whythill afterwards to wit the Tenth day of September In the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and forty Seven and often afterwards at Charles County afs.d by the same Cornelius Sandford hath been Requested but the same to him hitherto to pay or him for the same in any sort to Content hath hither to altogether Refused and still doth Refuse to the Damage of the same Cornelius Sandford Seventeen Pounds one shilling and Eleven pence half Penny Currency and therefore suit is brought and so forth Pled.s &C.a John Doe & Rich.d Roe 1743 M.r Robert Whythill D.r
