(295) Made and Levied on their and Every of their Goods & Chattles Lands & Tenements to the use of his said Lordship his Heirs and Successors On Condition that the said Andrew Monroe do Keep Good Rules and orders and does not suffer Idle Loose or Disorderly Persons to Tipple Game or Commit other Disorders or Irregularities Contrary to the True Intent and meaning of the Act of Assembly Concerning ordinarys and for the Better Regulating Innholders & ordinary Keepers within this Province Money paid in Court to Sheriff 20/11 Currency
Tuesday in March aforesaid Thomas Burnett into Court here in his proper Person Comes according to the Tenor of a Certain Recognizance taken before the Worshipfull Mr William Middleton on the Thirteenth day of January one Thousand Seven Hundred and forty Seven in the sum of Ten pounds Current money of Maryland and Jacob Brandt the sum of five Pounds like money for his the said Thomas's Appearance Before the Justices of the Court to be held on the Second Tuesday in March afs.d to answer unto what shall be alledged against him and keep the peace and be of good behaviour &Ca Whereupon nothing being alledged against the said Thomas Burnett together with Jacob Brandt the s.d Thomas's main pernour aforesaid from the same Recognizance are acquitt and discharged upon paying the several fees arisen due to the officers and Ministers of the Court here by occasion of the Premises Ruled that the said Thomas Burnett give Security for the Several fees arisen due to the Officers and Ministers of the Court hereby occasion of the Premises Whereupon into Court here in his proper per Comes Jacob Brandt of Charles County Planter and becomes pledge and security for the afs.d Thomas to pay the several Fees aforesaid Dorothy Thompson an Orphan Girl as by the Court here bound to Mr Wm Penn till she arrives at the age of 16 years or Day of Marriage which shall first Happen Thereupon the said William Penn Promises to give her a Petticoat Wescoat and a p.r of shoes and Stockings when free Ordered that Robert Gill bring to this Court an orphan Girl Named John for that is in the Custody of Thomas Higgdon in order that she be bound out according to the Directions of the Act of Assembly in such Cases made & Provided and the motion of the said Robert Gill |
