16) March Court Anno Dom 1746 Whereupon the Court herein his proper Person Comes Thos Dent of Chas County ^Planter^ and be Comes Pledge and Security For the afsd Henry Davis to pay the fine afsd and Also the Severall fees Arisen due to the officers and ministers of the Court Hereby Occasion of the Premises Ruled that the said Henry Davis Recognize In the sum of Twenty Pounds Current money with sufficent security in the sum of Ten pounds like Money for his Good Behaviour still and appearance at the next County Court to be here Holden on the Second Tuesday in June next Thereupon Into Court here in his proper Person comes the aforesaid Henry Davis of Charles County Planter and Thomas Dent of same County Planter and Acknowledge themselves to Owe and Stand justly Indebted to the Right Honourable The Lord Proprietary that is to say he the said Henry In the sum of Twenty Pounds Current money and the said Thomas Dent In the sum of Ten Pounds like money which sums they and each of them Severally Yeilded and Granted should and might be Levied on Their and Each of their Goods and Chattells Lands and Tenements To and for the use of his said Lordship ^his^ heirs and successors The Condition of which Recognizance is That if the above bounded Henry Davis Shall Personally appear At the next County Court to be holden for this County to do and Receive what shall be then and there enjoined him by the said Court and in the mean time that he be of good behaviour towards His Lordship the Lord Proprietary and all other People of this Province then this Recognizance to be void otherwise to be and Remain in full force and Virtue Be it Remembered that the afsd Henry Davis Together with his main pernor John Sanders from the force and Effect of the Recognizance afsd taken as afsd before the worship Full M.r William Eilbeck are acquit and Discharged Be it Remembred that on this day to witt the Tues Second Tuesday in March afsd Richard Coffer ^Into Court here in his proper person come^ according to the Tenor of his Recognizance taken before the Worshipfull M.r William Eilb on the Twenty Ninth day of January One Thousand seven Hundred and forty six seven that is to say He the said Richard in the Sum of Ten pounds Current together with Dennis Dowing his Mainpernor In the Sume of Five pounds lime Money for his the said Richards appear (to |
