(139) Like money Each which sums they and every of them severally Yeilded & Granted should be made and Levied on their and every of their Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements to the use of his said Lordship his Heirs and Successors On Condition that the said Collin Mitchell do Keep Rules and orders and does not suffer Idle Loose or Disorderly Persons to Tipple Game or Commit other Disorders or Irregularities Contrary to the True Intent and meaning of the act of assembly Concerning ordinarys and for the better Regulating Innholders and ordinary Keepers within this Province fine paid in Court to Sheriff 50/ shillings James Ledstone on his Motion to the Court is admitted to Keep ordinary at his House in Lower Cedar Point he giving Security according to the Directions of the act of Assembly in those Cases late made and Provided Whereupon into Court here in his Proper Person Comes the aforesaid James ledstone & acknowledges himself to owe and stand Justly Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord Propry In the sum of Forty Pounds Current money of Maryland and also In like manner Came William Middleton and Charles Jones of same County and acknowledge themselves to owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto his said Lordship In the sum of Twenty Pounds Like money Each which sums they and each of them severally Yielded and Granted should be made and Levied on their and every of their Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements to the use of his said Lordship his Heirs and Successors On Condition that the said James Ledstone do Keep Good Rules and orders and does not suffer Idle Loose or disorderly Persons to Tipple Game or Commit other disorders or Irregularities Contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the act of assembly concerning Ordinarys and for the Better Regulating Innholders and ordinary Keepers within this Province fine paid in Court to sheriff 50/ shillings Elias Smith on his Motion to the Court is admitted to Keep ordinary at his house in Benedict Leonard Town he giving according to the Directions of the act of the act of Assembly in those Cases late made & Provided Whereupon into Court here in his Proper Person Comes the aforesaid Elias Smith and acknowledges himself to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary In the Sum of Forty Pounds Current Money of Maryland and also in like maner Came Thomas Hungerford and Allen Davies of same County and Acknowledge themselves to owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto his said Lordship In the sum of In the sum of Twenty Pounds Like Money Each which Sums they and every of their (Goods) |
