(107) Hatton on the 3d day of April the whole Damages & Costs before John Howard & W.m Middleton Jun and I have made Known to the Garr.s above mentioned that they be and appear before the Justices of the County Court at the time and Place within Prescribed to shew Cause if any they have why the same Effects so attached in their hands should not be Condemned to and for the use of the within mentioned Mess.rs Falkner & Muschett the same attached before the Person above mentioned being Good and Lawfull men of my Bailywick as I am hereby Commanded So answers Sam Hanson She And the afs.d Thomas Leftwick into Court here in his Proper Person Comes & Confesses that at the Time of laying the attachment afs.d he had and still has of the Effects of the said James Scott to the Value of Two Hundred & Eighty pounds of Tobacco and no more the said Robert Hanson in like manner Confesses fifty Pounds of Tobacco the said John Beale Sen in like manner Confesses one Pound sixteen shillings and six Pence Currency in Like manner the said Bart.a Hatton in like manner Confesses one Pound Twelve shillings Currency & no more Whereupon the said Falkner & Muschett before Jeremiah Chase their attorney afs.d Prays Condemnation of the said Virlinda Sander to the sum of six shillings & six pence Currency and likewise prays Condemnation of the said John Mannery to the sum of one Hundred and Twenty Pounds of Tobacco of the Garnashees afs.d attached with Execution thereof to them to be adjudged and the Garnashees abovementioned altho solemnly Called Comes not but make Default Whereupon the said Falkner & Muschett by their attorney afs.d prays Condemnation of the several sums of Tobacco Money afs.d so as afs.d in the hands of the several Garnashees afs.d and by them Confessed with Execution thereof to them to be adjudged Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the said Falkner & Muschett have Condemnation of the several sums of Tobacco & money afs.d in the hands of the several Garnashees afs.d by the Court here adjudged according to the form force and Effect of the act of Assembly in those Cases late made & Provided and that the said Falkner & Muschett have thereof Execution &Ca Mem.o Jeremiah Chase secy on bond Mem.o Att.a struck off as to the other Garnashees
Charles County ss.t Robert Minion late of Charles County Blacksmith was attached to answer unto William Neale of a Plea of Trespass upon the Case And Whereupon the said William by Henry Darnall his attorney Complains for that whereas the said Robert on the fourth day of October In the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and forty Six at Charles County afs.d was Indebted unto the s.d W.m In the sum of Two Thousand one Hundred and Ninety Eight Pounds of Tobacco for Divers Particulars lying Properly in account as by the ^a^ Particular Account thereof herewith into Court brought may appear and the said Robert being so thereof Indebted (Inconsideration) |
