10) March Court Anno Dom 1746 On the Land aforesaid this present day and took Robert Hurdles Deposition abovesaid which Deposition we Committed To writing in Presence of all Parties Come and Witness our Hand and seal this sixth day of March 1746/7 Jona Willson Edward Burch Vide Recognizance amongst the Court Papers HD Lord Proprietary [illegible] Convict on Submission Henry Woodyard Be it Remembred that on this day to witt the Second Tuesday in March afsd into Court here in his Proper person Comes Henry Woodyard of Charles County Planter According to the Tenor of a certain Recognizance taken before the Worshipfull M.r William Eillick one of his Lordships Justices of the peace for the County afsd that is to say the said Henry Woodyard In the Sume of Twenty pounds Current Money together with John Sanders his Mainpernor in the Sume of Ten pounds like Money for his the said Henry's appearance to answer &ca and not Depart &ca Whereupon Henry Darnall Esqr his Lordships Attorney Generall Oretemus give the Court here to understand & be Informed that the said Henry Woodyard was and is Guilty of a ^Trespass &^ Breach of his Lordships peace in Breaking the Cellar Door of Richard Coffer and Committing Sundry other Misdeamenours in the Dwelling House of said Coffer in Company with Robert Haislip (Henry David and John Delquir; Thereupon the said Henry present here In Court in his proper person being asked whether he be Guilty of the Trespass and Breach of Peace aforesaid so on him Imposed Saith that he is in no wise thereof Guilty But for that He will not Contend with his Lordship the Lord Proprietary in this part Humbly Submits himself to the Court Therefore It is Considered that the said hat the said Henry be fined the Sume of Forty Shillings Current Money for the Offence afsd by the Court here Adjudged and that the Capr said Henry be taken &.ca Whereupon Into Court here in his proper Person Comes John Sanders of Matthew on Planter and Becomes pledge and Security for the aforesaid Henry Woodyard to pay the Fine afsd and also the Severall Fees arisen due to the Officers and Ministers of the Court Here by occasion of the Premisses [Ruled |
