                                                 Att a Court of his Lordship the Right honrble Charles absolute Lord and

                      Proprietary of the provinces of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &a held at dividing Creek
       in and for the County of Somerset the third Tuesday of June to witt the Sixteenth day of the Same month ann Dom
One thousand Seven hundred and forty One by the said Lord Proprietary his Justices the peace in the same County to
keep assigned of whom were present

    The Court being sat as above and proclamation being made in Usual form the sheriffe of Somerset County to wit
John Handy Gent being Called makes Return of a pannell of Orphan Jurors as Followeth   to witt Nicholas Fountain
William Waters William Venables William Jones Joshua Sturges Abraham Cordery William Bozman John Gillet
William Nelson Thomas Collins Whittington King Thomas Reyley John Goddart William Duett David Hudson
Samuel Powell Spence Hall John Mercy William Mills Samuel Davis and Edward Cluffe  the Jurors afd so
as afd Impannelled being Called by their Names doe appear as above and were Sworn and Charged and Sent Out
to Consider &a soon after the Jurors afd being sworn and Charged as aforesaid Return hereinto Court and being
Severall Called Over did appear and were accordingly discharged by the Court &a


George Douglas of Somerset County Gent is appointed by the Court here to prosecute his Lordships pleas in
Somerset County Court in the absence of Robert Jenckins Henry of the County afd Gentleman and that he have full power
to Order Out all such subpenas as he should think proper to testifie to the Grand Jury on behalfe of his Lordship this
Court against any person or persons whatsoever &a


             Att the prayer of George Douglas Gent prosecutor appointed it is Ordered by the Court here that the
Sheriffe of Somerset County to witt John Handy Gent Return a pannell of Grand Jurors Immediately to this Court
to Inquire for his Lordship the Lord proprietary and the body of the County of Somerset in usuall manner

                            Whereupon proclamation being made the same sheriffe Made return of a pannell of
    of a pannel of Grand Jurors as afd he was Ordered in form Following vizt Nicholas Fountain William
Winters Hutton Hill William Vennables Joshua Sturgiss Abraham Cordery William Bozman John Gillett William Nelson
Whittington King Reyley W.m Duett John Goddard David Hudson Samuell Powell Spence Hall John Mercy
William Mills Samuel Davis ^and Daniel Alexander^ Edward Cluff   And thereupon proclamation being made in Common form &c   the Jurors
af.d so as af.d Impannelled being Severall Called over by their names doe appear as above and were Sworn to enquire and Charged
and sent out to Consider &c  soon after the Grand Jurors af.d being Impannelled sworn and Charged as af.d returned here into Court
and ^being^ severally Called over appeared and present to the Court here the severall bills of Indictment against Jean Hains Elizabeth Cary
Rachel Bennet Sarah Mears Marjoram Mallard and Daniel Dennis  Thereupon the Grand Jurors aforesaid are discharged
