89 Aforesaid John Wildman Recover against the afd Francis Porter his damages afd to the afd two Pounds five Shillings Currt money of maryland by the arbitrators afd in form afd found as also 348 Three hundred and Seventy Pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges to the same John Wildman at their Request by the Court here adjudged and the afd Francis in Mercy &.a
and her should safe keep so that he might have her body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of June Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and Forty nine to Answer unto John Tunstall of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.a and the same day is given to the afd John here &.a Att which day here Came the afd John Tunstall by Robert Jenckins Henry his attorney and the sheriffe to witt John Henry Gent now here Returned that he had taken the afd Sarah Roe whose body hereat this day he had Ready to Answer the afd John Tunstall of the afd plea as to him it was Commanded Whereupon the afd Sarah Roe puts in her place George Douglas Gent attorney at Law against the afd John Tunstall of the afd Plea And thereupon at the Request of the parties afd day is to them now here given untill next Court to be held at dividing Creek in and for the County afd the third tuesday of August then next Following in the same state as at present saveing ^to^ the parties afd &.a Att which day here Came againe as well the afd John Tunstall as the afd Sarah Roe by their attorneys afd And hereupon the said John declared against the afd Sarah Roe in the plea afd in form Following Somerset ss.t Sarah Roe late of Somerset County Widdow Administratrix of all and Singular the goods Chattles and Creditts which were of Thomas Roe late of the County afd deceased who died Intestate as tis said was attached to answer unto John Tunstall of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.a And Whereupon the same John by Robert Jenckins Henry his attorny Complains that whereas the afd Thomas in his life time (to witt) the twenty fifth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred thirty and six at Somerset County afd was Indebted unto the same John in the sum of Twenty and four Pounds eight Shillings and four pence in Gold Currency of the province of maryland and five pounds and Six Shillings in paper Currency of the same Province for one negro Girl Slave and Also for sundry other Articles properly Chargeable in an account by the same John to the said Thomas at the speciall Instance and Request of the said Thomas before that time |
