75 and Charges afd to him to be adjudged &.a Therefore by Consent of the parties afd it is Considered that the afd George Gale Recover against the afd Richard Knight his damages afd to the afd Four Pounds Currt money of maryland by the same Richard in form afd acknowledged as also three hundred and sixty six pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges afd to the same George at his Request by the Court ^now^ here of the Assent of the parties afd adjudged which Certain damages in the whole amounts to four POunds Currt money of maryland and three hundred and sixty six pounds of tobacco and the afd Richard in mercy &.a And afterwards to witt the Seventeenth day of March anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and forty the said Richard Knight present here in Court in his proper person and upon this the Same Richard at the prayer of the ^afd^ Geo: is Committed into the Custody of the Sheriffe of the County afd thereto remain untill the afd George Gale of his damages aforesaid should be thereof fully satisfied the said Sheriffe present herein Court took Charge of the said Richard accordingly &a
the third Tuesday of March Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and forty to answer unto Archibald Mackneal of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.a And the same day is given to the af.d Archibald here &a Att which day here Came the af.d Archibald MccNeal by ^Francis Allen^ his Attorney af.d and the sheriffe to witt John Handy Gent now here returned that he had taken the af.d John Wildman & Catherine his wife whose bodys here at this day he had ready to answer the af.d Archibald MccNeal of the af.d plea as to him it was Commanded And afterwards to witt the same day and Year above said Last mentioned at dividing Creek before his Lordships Came the aforesaid John Wildman and Catherine his wife by William Arbuckle their attorney and the afd Archibald McNeal then and there his writt afd against the afd John Wildman and Catherine his wife did not prosecute with effect but voluntarily permitted his Suit to be discontinued Therefore afterwards to witt the ^that^ same day by discretion of the Justices here were adjudged to the same John Wildman and Catherine his wife pounds of tobacco 158 for their Costs and Charges by them about their defence in that part Sustained according to the form of the statute in such Case Lately made and provided and the afd Archibald in mercy and that the afd Jn.o and Catherine have thereof Execution &a
