we have appointed you or any three or two of you to be our Commissioners to Examine Evidences on behalfe of a Certain James Robertson of the County afd Clerk in Relation to the bounds of a tract of Land Called Grandvilles Lott or the bounds or devision of ^Bound of^ any other Lands on which the said Glanvilles Lott may depend We therefore Require you or amy three or two of you at some time and Place as to you or any three or two of you shall seem Convenient you meet on the afd Land Called Glandvilles Lott or any other Lands on which the Bounds of the said Glandvilles Lott may depend (You first haveing taken your Oaths on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God According to act of assembly in such case made and Provided) and there Cause to Come before you or any three or two of you all such Evidences as shall be to you or any three or two of you nominated by the said Complainant or Deft if any and that you or any three or two of you Examine them upon their Corporall Oaths to be by you or any three or two of you Administred on the holy Evangelist of almighty God in the Presence of the Complainant or Deft if any touching the truth or Remembrance of their knowledge or any thing that may Relate to the Cause afd and that Reducing the severall depositions in writing into writing you send the same together with this our Commission under your or any three or two of your hands and seals to us to our County Court of Somerset with all Convenient speed Wittness Robert King Gent Chief Justice of our said Court the twenty second day of August Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and forty And Now to witt the third Tuesday of March being the Seventeenth day of the same month Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and forty At a Court then held before his Lordships Justices at dividing Creek in and for the County of Somerset Came John Woollford and Joseph Gillisse two of the Gentleman nominated in the above Commission and made Return thereof Endorsed with the severall depositions thereto annexed in form following December the 12.th 1740 Then was John Woolford and Joseph Gillisse Quallified before me the subscriber to execute the within Commission Agreeable to the act of assembly in such case provided Henry Ballard By Vertue of a Commission out of Somerset County Court to us directed to Examine evidences Relating to the bounders of a Certain tract of Land lying in Somerset County Called Glanvells Lott belonging to the Reverend James Robinson of the afd County taken as follows Levin Gale of Somerset County Esq.r Aged about thirty six years being sworn on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God Deposeth and saith that at a Late Resurvey made by David Wilson of Somerset |
