59 Almighty God to the Evill Example of All others in such Case offending Contrary the peace of the Right Honble the Lord proprietary that now is his good rule and Government and against the form of the Act of Assembly in such Case lately made and provided &c Thereupon it is Commanded the Sherife that he should Take the said Rose Roach if &.a to answer &.a And afterwards to witt the same seventeenth day of March and Year abovesd at a Court then held before his Lordships Justices at dividing Creek in and for the County afd Came the aforesaid Rose Roach in her proper person and had a hearing of the Information aforesaid and saith that she Cannot deny but that she is Guilty of the premisses af.d in the Information aforesaid specified above upon her Imposed in manner and form as by the Information afd above against her supposed Whereupon all and singular the premisses being seen and by the Court here fully understood And for as much as it appeareth to the Court here that by Law there is due to the County of Somerset seven years service from such person or persons that are Guilty of Such Inordinate Copulation as aforesaid &a Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the afd Rose Roach return home to Mistress Mary Fountains service and that she serve her said Mistress four full months to Commence at the End of her new Servitude which is adjudged by the Court here for full Satisfaction for damages trouble Loss of time and Expences her said Mistress had and was at at the time of her Lying in in Child bedd &a Whereupon the said Mary Fountain is Ordered by the Court here to Return the said Rose Roach to the County Court of Somerset or Sheriffe of the County to make Satisfaction to the County afd for the afd seven years service and the severall Officers Officers their fees due by means of the premisses afd &c Thereupon the said Mary Fountain present here in Court in her proper person undertook to deliver up the afd Rose Roach at the Expiration of her servitude as afd unto the County Court of Somerset or the Sher of the County &c
Recorded and he and his security discharged &.a Thereupon the said Henry Walstons appearance is recorded and he and his security accordingly discharged &a Whereupon the said Henry Walstons is Ordered to give new Recognizance for his appearance before his Lordships Justices at the next Court to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of June then next following to answer his Committing of fornication with a Certain Mary Miles &a Thereupon the said Henry Walston with Robert King of Somerset County Esq.r ^his security^ both present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary in Twenty pounds Curr.t money of their body's Goods or Chattles Lands or tenements severally to |
