Court thereupon or Render his body in Execution of Such Judgment to the prison of the Sheriffe of the County aforesaid in Satisfaction
thereof or that he the Said John Timmons will do the Same for him &a

                   And the aforesaid James Timmons in his proper person Cometh and defendeth the force and Injury when &a
and Saith that he Cannot deny the action aforesaid of the aforesaid Samuel Hopkins nor Can he say but that he did assume
upon himselfe in manner and form as the aforesaid Samuel Hopkins above against him hath Complained and as to the
damage of the Same Samuel by him by Occasion of the premisses in that part Sustained the Same James Saith and acknowledgeth
that the aforesaid Samuel has Sustained damages by Occasion of the premisses beyond his Costs and Charges by him about his
Suit in that part apposed to Six pounds Sixteen Shillings and four pence Currant money of Maryland and not more and
because the aforesaid Samuel denys not this but the Same allegation grants to be True prays Judgmt and those damages
above acknowledged together with his Costs and Charges aforesaid to him to be adjudged &a

                Therefore by Consent of the parties aforesaid  It is Considered that the aforesaid Samuel Hopkins
Recover against the aforesaid James Timmons his damages aforesaid to the aforesaid Six pounds Sixteen Shillings and four
pence Currant money of Maryland by the Same James in form aforesaid acknowledged as also Three hundred and
Sixty four pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges aforesaid to the Same Samuel at his request by the Court now
here of the assent of the parties aforesaid adjudged which Certain damages in the whole amounts to Six pounds
Sixteen Shillings and four pence Curr.t money of Maryland and Three hundred and Sixty four pounds of tobacco and
the aforesaid James in Mercy &a  And afterwards to witt the SAme Seventeenth day of August Ann Dom One thousand
Seven hundred and forty Two the aforesaid James Timmons being present herein Court in his proper person  and Whereupon
the Same James at the prayer of the aforesaid of the aforesaid Samuel by his attorney afd is Commited to the
prison of the Sheriffe of the County aforesaid thereto remain untill the aforesaid ^Samuel^ of the damages afd Should be fully
Satisfied &a                  You James Timmons John Timmons and John Atkinson do Confess Judgment unto
Samuel Hopkins for the Sum of Six pounds Sixteen Shillings and four pence Currant money of Maryland and Three
hundred and Sixty four pounds of tobacco which Sum was Recovered by the Said Samuel Hopkins against James Timmons
on the Seventeenth day of August in the County COurt the said Six pounds Sixteen Shillings and four pence Currant money
of Maryland and Three hundred and Sixty four pounds of tobacco to be Levied of Your bodies goods or Chattles Lands
or Tenements for the Use of the Said Samuel Hopkins in Case James Timmons shall not pay and Satisfie unto the
said Samuel Hopkins the Said Six pounds Sixteen Shillings and four pence Currant money of Maryland and Three hundred
and Sixty four pounds of tobacco so as aforesaid Recovered against ^him^ with the additionall Costs thereon on the Tenth day
of November next Taken before us the 20.th day of august                                                            Jn.o Scott

Bredell and David Bredell Orphans of Isaiah Bredell dec.d in the full and Just Sum of Two hundred and Seventy Eight pounds
