born ^for Thirty One Years^ according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &a  Whereupon the said Bobo
Jarvis is Sold by the Court here unto William Stoughton of Somerset County Gent untill he arrives at the
age of Thirty One Years the Said Bobo Jarvis being three Years of age the second day of february next
Following the said Bob Jarvis to Sere his said Master his heirs or assigns the full term aforesaid

                In consideration whereof the said William Stoughton pays to the Use of the County afd
fifty Shillings paper money of Maryland &a

             To The worshipfull the Justices of Sommerset County now in Court sitting
The petition of Spence Hall most humbly Sheweth That your petitioner hath a negro
woman Lilley that is quite Useless by Reason of a Swelling in her body and that Since Last January
she hath not done any manner of Service and she still grows worse and is very Chargeable to your
petitioner   Your petitioner most Humbly prays that your Worships would be pleased to set the said
negro Tax free untill Such time as said negro amends &a  and Your petitioner as in duty bound shall ever
pray
                               The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood   It is Considered
by the Court here that the aforesaid Negro woman Lilley be tax free for the future as by the petition afd
is praid &a

                        To the worshipfull the Justices of Sommerset County Court now in Court Sitting The Humble
petition of John Neill Sheweth That Your petitioner has been in the practice of the Law the three Years Last
past in Some of the Courts of the Government of Pensilvania and having a desire ^to^ of haveing the Liberty of practiceing
as an attorney of his worshipfull Court Your petitioner Therefore humbly prays he may be admitted here for that purpose
and Your petitioner shall ever pray

                   Whereupon all and Singular the premisses being seen and by the Justices here fully understood   It is
Considered by the Justices here that the aforesaid John Neill take the Severall Oaths directed by act of assembly
to be Taken to the Government and Subscrib the Oath of Abjuration and Repeat the declaration and Subscribe the
agreeable to the same act of assembly &a

                      There upon the said John Neill present herein Court in his proper person took the Severall Oaths to
appointed by act of assembly to be Taken to the Government and repeated the declaration and Subscribed the same
with the Oath of Abjuration and took the Oath of an attorney &a  and Thereupon the said John Neal is admitted to
practice as an attorney in this Court as by the petition aforesaid is praid &a
