283 Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriffe of Sommerset County that he Should Take the said Christopher Dominick Jackson if &a to answer &a And now to witt at that Same Court held for the County aforesaid at dividing Creek this fifteenth day of June Ann Dom One Thousand Seven hundred and forty Two before the aforesaid Justices Came the aforesaid Christopher Dominick Jackson by Francis Allen his attorney and had a hearing of the Information aforesaid and the Same attorney saith that he Cannot Deny but that the said Christopher Dominick Jackson is guilty of the premisses aforesaid in the Information aforesaid above upon him Imposed in manner and form as by the Information aforesaid above upon him Supposed and is willing to pay his fine for the fact aforesaid Whereupon all and Singular the premisses being seen and by the Court here fully understood It is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid Christopher Dominick Jackson pay unto his said Lordship the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary for his fine by the Court here upon him Imposed for and by Occasion of the premisses aforesaid whereof in form aforesaid he is Convict Three pounds Curr.t money of Maryland and that the said Christopher Dominick Jackson be Taken to Satisfie his said Lordship of the fine aforesaid &a Whereupon the said Christopher Dominick Jackson ^is ordered to^ given Security for the payment of all fee or fees due by means of the Information aforesaid to any person or persons whatsoever Thereupon George Dashiell of Sommerset County Gentleman present herein Court in his proper person undertook for the said Christopher Dominick Jackson to pay all fee or fees due to any person or persons Whatsoever on the Information afd In Case the said Christopher Dominick Jackson should not pay the Same &a
and forty two before Robert King Esq.r and his Associates the said Lord propry his Justices of the same County Court and for the same Lord propry doth give the Court here to understand and be Informed that Benjamin Derixon late of all hallows parish in the said County of Somerset planter the fifteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty one at the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court did Commit Adultery with a Certain Rachell Freeman he the said Benjamin Derixon then and there being a married man and of her body then and there had Carnall Knowledge and a bastard Child on the body of her the same Rachell then and there did beget to the High displeasure of allmighty God to the evill example of all others in such Case offending Contrary to the peace of the right Honrble the Lord propry that now is his Good rule and Government and against the form of the Act of Assembly in such Case lately made and provided &a Whereupon the same Attorney of |
