283 them given untill next Court to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of June then next following in the same State as at present Saving to the parties aforesaid &a Att which day here Came againe as well the aforesaid David Richardson by his attorney afd as the aforesaid Thomas Wise by Francis Allen his attorney and the petition aforesaid being read and heard and Severall Evidences being Examined upon Oath and Likewise the parish Regester being produced here in Court wherein the said David Richardson age being recorded all which being by the Court Inspected and mature deliberation thereupon had as well on the part of the petitioner as on the part of the said Thomas Wise It seemeth and appeareth to the Court here that the aforesaid David Richardson is not Twenty One Years of Age before the first day of March then next following Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid David Richardson take nothing by his petition aforesaid and that the said Thomas Wise goe thereof without day &a
fifteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty two before Robert King Esq.r and his Associates the said Lord proprietary his Justices of the same County Court and for the same Lord propry doth give the Court here to understand and be Informed that Christopher Dominick Jackson late of Stepney parish in the said County of Somerset Chirurgion the Sixth day of february in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty one at the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court did Commit Adultery with a Certain Elizabeth Spear he the said Christopher Dominick Jackson then and there being a married man and of her Body then and there ^had^ Carnall knowledge and a bastard Child on the body of her the same Elizabeth then and there did beget to the high displeasure of Allmighty God to the evill Example of all others in such Case offending Contrary to the peace of the right Honourable the Lord propry that now is his good rule and Government and against the form of the Act of Assembly in such Case lately made and provided &c Whereupon the same Attorney of the same Lord propry for the same Lord propry prays the Advice of the Court herein the premisses and that due process of Law in this part against the same Christopher Dominick Jackson may be made to Answer unto the same Lord propry of and upon the premisses &c thereupon |
