280 Plft.s John Elzey aged about forty Eight years being sworn on the holy Evengelist of Almighty God being Askt what he knew about the Great pasture Gut or markt pine who says that about thirty years agoe he was at school with M.r Woolfords sons and he used to Goe to M.rs Mary Woolford and he has heard them order his horse to be turned out in the Great pasture and ^as^ he remembers he heard som body say at that time that their was a bridge down Lower over the Great pasture Gut to turn Creaturs over and that he was told by Lazarus Maddox and Sarah his wife that Coll Woolford markt the pine at the marsh where there was a pasture FEnce and further ^this deponant^ saith not J Elzey P.r Def.t Thomas Dashiell aged about seventy five years being sworn on the holy Evengelist of Almighty God saith that he was quinted with the Land in dispute between Woolford Willson and Waggaman who says that he Knew that there was a pasture fence when he first knew it runing down to the Marsh near the head of a Gut of Branch by Luks point and further saith not Thomas Dashiell Def.t John Bozman aged about fifty seven years being sworn on the holy Evengelis of Almighty God saith that the Great pasture fence Came down to the head of a glade near where Coll Rodger Woolford markt at tree which James Woolford told the Coll was the tree that Divided Brother Rodger and Brother Levin which tree Coll Woolford markt after the death of Levin Woolford and further this deponant saith not John Bozman Def.t John Bean aged about thirty seven years being sworn on the holy Evengelis of almighty God being askt what he knew about the Great pasture Gut who says that about sixteen years agoe he Lived as an Over seer on this plantation at Luks point Called and that he allways heard the Gut running up by Luks point Called the Great pasture Gutt and that he heard it soe Called by Coll Woolford and Severall others but doth not remember who and that the Great pasture fence run down to the hear of the Gut near the markt pine and further this deponant saith not John Beane Def.t July 5.th 1741 Thomas Hicks aged about fifty three years being sworn on the holy Evengelis of Almighty God saith that about forty two or three years past he had always known a gut near Luks point Called the Great pasture Gut near Luks point Called the Great pasture Gutt and that the Great pasture fence run down to the said Gut and further that ^he^ heard old Rodger Woolford his uncle say in his life time that a pine was the division between his father in law and Levin Woolford which pine stand near a marsh som distance from the Gut af.d and that he heard Rodger Woolford the Elder say the pine af.d was to be the devision between his father in Law Rodger Woolford the |
