one thousand seven hundred and forty one to satisfie Levin Gale Esqr of Seventeen pounds ten shillings and two pence Curr.t money of Maryland and one thousand and ninety ^one^ pounds of tobacco which to the same Levin Gale in the same Court before the Justices thereof at dividing Creek were adjudged for his Damages which he had by Occasion of a Certain promise and assumption to the same Levin Gale by the af.d James Townsend made and not performed whereof he is Convict and the same day is given to the af.d Levin here &c Att which day here Came the af.d Levin Gale by in his proper person and the sheriffe of Somerset County (to witt) John Handy Gent now here returned that he had taken the af.d James Townsend whose body here at this day he had ready to satisfie the af.d Levin Gale of his Damages af.d as to him it was Commanded &c
of Somerset to be held at Dividing Creek the third Tuesday of March Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and forty one to satisfie Robert Geddes of Seven pounds Curr.t money of Maryland and three hundred and forty seven pounds of tobacco which to the same Robert Geddes in the same Court before the Justices thereof at Dividing Creek were adjudged for his Damages which he had by Occasion of a Certain promise and Assumption to the same Robert by the af.d Richard made and not performed whereof he is Convict and the same day is given to the af.d Robert here &c Att which day here Came the af.d Robert Geddes in his proper person and the sheriffe to witt John Handy Gent now here returned that he had taken the af.d Richard Knight whose body here at this day he had ready to satisfie the af.d Robert Geddes of his Damages af.d as to him it was Commanded &c
