Honourable the Lord proprietarys Justices the peace for the said County to Conserve assigned to be levied of your bodys Goods or Chattles lands or tenements for the use of the said Wonne McClemmy in Case the said John Evans shall not pay and Satisfy to the said Wonne McClemmy the said three hundred and Sixty pounds of tobacco so as af.d recovered against him with the Additional Costs thereon on the tenth day of November next Acknowledged and taken the 22d day of August 1740 before me Levin Gale By Somerset County Court August 21.t 1739 Whereas there was an order of Court ^made^ formerly to James Martin Samuel Hopkins J.r John Scarbrough and Adam Spence of Somerset County Gent to lay our and order a Road from Snow Hill town to Joseph Schofeilds at the Seaside &.a but Forasmuch as the said Gent had done nothing thereby &.a It is now Ordered that the af.d Samuel Hopkins, Peter Stewart and William Selby of the County af.d Gent or any two of them lay out and direct the Clearing of a new Road from Snow Hill af.d into the seaside Road by Perrys Old feild the said new Road to be Laid out the nearest way to the place af.d and of his the Least of prejudice to Any person or persons whatsoever which said Road when Laid out by the persons af.d the af.d Adam Spence is appointed Overseer thereof and Cause the said new Road to be Cleared and Causwayed according to Law persons toward Clearing of the said Road samuel Bratton W.m Hall Adam Bell Daniel Wells and John Deverix &a p order Thomas Hayward Cl On the foregoing order it was thus endorsed vizt Jen ye 7.th 1739 Pursuant to the within order we the Subscribers do order and direct the Following road vizt Begining at the north end of Snow Hill on the devisional Line Between Spence and Robertson ^of Robertsons^ side of the Line running with the said Line halfe way to the mill branch then Crossing the Line to Spence is side so with the said Line to the Brow ^of the Hill^ of the Branch af.d thence the directest and best way with the ^said^ Branch to the old road and over the branch where |
