162 Indebted Afterwards vizt the day and year af.d at the County af.d in Consideration thereof the said Jonathan upon himself assumed and to the same Francis then and there faithfully promised that he the said Jonathan the af.d Seven pounds nine shillings and two pence when he should be thereto Afterwards Required he would faithfully Content and pay and altho' the said Jonathan hath paid to the same Francis two pounds three shillings and six pence Currt money af.d part of the af.d Seven pounds nine shillings and two pence Nevertheless as to five pounds five shillings and eight Pence Residue of the af.d Seven pounds nine shillings and two pence the said Jonathan his promise and assumption Little regarding but plotting and fraudulently the same Francis in this part Craftilly subtilly to deceive and defraud the af.d five pounds five Shillings and eight Pence Residue to the same Francis hath not paid but the same to pay hath hitherto altogether Refused and still doth Refuse altho' thereto afterwards vizt on the first day of June in the year of af.d at the County af.d and often since by the same Francis Required Whereupon the same Francis saith he damnified and damage hath to the Value of twenty pounds Currt money of maryland and thereof he brings suit &.a Pledges &.a J Doe and R Roe
