future tax free and that the said Robert Nairne the petition.r af.d be discharged from paying of taxes for the af.d negro as by the
petition af.d is praid &c


    Thomas Lambden of Somerset County Gentleman brings hereinto Court a negro Girle Called Pleasant and prays that the
Court would then adjudged how Old she then was &a  Thereupon the said Negro pleasant is adjudged by the Court her to fourteen
years of age &a

                         George Layfield of Sommerset County Gentleman brings hereinto Court a negro Boy
Called London and prays that the Court would adjudged how old he then was &a  Thereupon the said Negro London
is adjudged by the Court here to Twelve years of age &c


    George Lafield of Somerset County Gentleman brings here in Court a negro Girle Called Dinah and prays that the Court would adjudge
how old she then was &.a  thereupon the said negro Dinah is Adjudged by the Court here to twelve years of age &a


       John Blades of Somerset County Gentleman brings here into Court a negro boy Called Harry and prays that the Court would
adjudge how old he ^then^ was &.a  thereupon the said negro Harry is Adjudged by the Court here to nine years of age &a


John Goldsmith

          To the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County Court the humble petition of John Goldsmith a languishing
prisoner in said County sheweth that your petitioner designes to petition the Generall assembly for relief and beggs that
your worships would be pleased to Certifie the same your petitioner haveing languished above three year^s^ in Goal and being informed that no person
is relieved by the Assembly Except application be first made to the Justices of the County Court where they are in goal prays that this
application may be Certified and as in duty bound shall pray

                                        The petition aforesaid being read and heard fully understood   It is Considered and Ordered that a
Certificate be made to the said John Goldsmith Pursuant to a resolve of the upper house of assembly bearing date the
the third day of September Ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty One


Adam Bell

    To the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County now sitting the humble petition of Adam Bell your petitioner
haveing a negro wench named Nan since last december has been dislocated in her arm and not able to performe her dayly
business implore your worships to set her tax free and your petitioner shall be in duty bound to pray
    The petition af.d being read and heard and fully understood  It is Considered that the af.d negro Nan be for the future tax free and that the
said Adam Bell the petitioner af.d be discharged from paying of taxes for the af.d negro Nan as by the petition af.d is praid &c

          To the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County In Court Judicially Sitting the petition of John Riggen most
humbly Sheweth that whereas your petitioner by means of a hurt by lifting which Either very much straind or broke
some thing within him and has since turned to a Sort of a Consumption which hath rendred him altogether uncapable of doing any
sort of work whereby he might maintain himself and hath been in a very week Condition this Six or seven years past but is grown very
much worse within this two years he therefore humbly prays your worships will take this his deplorable Case into Consideration & set
him tax free untill it shall please God to restore him and he as in duty bound will pray &c
