93 We The undersigned in persuance of appointment by the Orphan's Court of Kent County State of Maryland did on the second day of May 1872 Enter upon and examine the lands and tenaments of John B. Vashell late of Kent County deceased and after carefully examining said real Estate do find the fences and buildings thereon in bad condition we also certify that we do estimate the yearly rental value of said real Estate at one Hundred Dollars. And for the present year 1872 as there is no wheat for the tenant we do Estimate the rental value for the current year at Seventy five Dollars J. C. Taylor S. C. Brannock An appraisment of the Rental Value of the real estate of John Gale and William R. Gale minors of Kent County Maryland made by John W. Corey and William W. Stephens June 17th 1872 Estate called Camels worth more occupied by Mr John Miller contains about three hundred and forty acres one hundred acres being in wood and timber. The balance is divided in five fields and under good fencing The dwelling 32 x 20 feet 1½ stories in hight has two rooms below and two above is of brick and stone comfortable but somewhat out of repair The kitchen adjoining 20 x 16 feet has one room below and one above is of brick and stone comfortable The meat house 14 x 16 feet has one room below and one above is of brick and stone comfortable The meat house 14 x 16 feet is of stone good but unfit for the intended use The barn new 16 feet posts 30 x 40 feet with stone basement has stabling for 8 horses with commodious granery and hay lofts and a drive way 25 x 25 feet with still corn cribs Annual Rental value $800.00 |
