113 We the Subscribers having been legally authorized and having taken the oath prescribed by law to appraise the Rental Value of the Real Estate of the late Richard Goodman of Kent County deceased having entered on and viewed said Real Estate do submit to your Honorable Court the following: 17 Acres of land to be put in corn the present year and 13 Acres of land to be put in oats; Together with Dwelling House out Houses and Garden for which according to our best judgment a Rent of One hundred and Twenty dollars is just and fair for the present year We also found one Tenant House with Garden attached for which we think the sum of Thirty dollars a fair rent making a total of One Hundred and Fifty dollars $15000/100 From which one third is to be deducted for Mrs. Mary Godwin She owing one third of Said Real Estate leaving the sum of one hundred dollars to be credited to said Richard Goodman's Estate There is on said Estate One Dwelling One Corn House Stable and Granary all of which are in bad repair. There is one Tenant House nearly new The fences are in a dilapidated condition There is also on said Estate one Peach orchard containing 107 trees four years old and sixty five trees three years old There are three fields and one orchard on said Estate We the subscribers do certify that the aforegoing is a true and just Rental Valuation of said Real Estate according to our best skill and judgment Witness our hands and Seals this twenty seventh day of January eighteen hundred and seventy six Jan 27 1876 B.
