we the subscribers do certify that the aforegoing
is a true and just Inventory and valuation of the
Real Estate of the said Jacob Knotts deceased so far
as the same hath come to our sight and knowledge
and as valued and appraised by us in dollars and
cents according to the best of our skill and judge
ment Amounting to
                              In testimony whereof we hereby
subscribe our names and affix our seals this 8th
day of april A. D. 1873

                To the Hon Orphans Court for Kent County

You petitioner represents that a certain Orlando F.
Sutton late of Kent County Maryland died on or
about the 26th day of October eighteen hundred and
sixty nine intestate leaving Araminta Sutton his widow
and four children Mary E. Brice wife of R. A. Brice
George W. Sutton David S. Sutton and James Walter
Sutton all of whome are minors except Mary E. Brice
that your petition George W. Sutton has arrived
at the age of twenty one years and David S. Sutton
and James Walter Sutton are still minors all of
whome now reside in Kent County and State of Maryland
In additional to to his personal Estate which
has been fully administered by the said R. A. Brice
as will appear on record in the Registers Office he
died seized of certain real estate worth about two
thousand Dollars the same being Situated in the
Village of Galena in Kent County and State of Maryland
that you petitioner is desirous to have his portion
of the inheritance but to make a partition of the same
siting off each ones share in real estate would be be be
to the injury of the Value of the Whole Estate and
the Estate cannot be devided without prejudice
to the interest of all especially the said minors that
the property is depreciating in value and need repairs
and must altimatly be sacrificed unless sold soon
that the minors portion is sold and invested in some
