of His said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied If it happen
that the said Thomas Walker do not keep good rules and orders and do suffer
Idle loose and disorderly persons to tipple game or Commit disorders or other
Irregularities in his ordinary or house of entertainment dureing the time that
he shall keep the same Contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the act of
assembly in such case made and provided &c

James Rownd of Somerset County Inholder Came here into Court in his proper
^person^ and prays that he may have the Liberty to keep an ordinary or house
of Entertainment in his hous in allhollows parish at the seaside in the                                             
County afd for the use and Conveniency of the Inhabitants travellers and Strangers
as to them respectively shall seem mete which is by the Court here unto him granted
he giving security according to act of assembly in such case made and provided &c

    Whereupon the said James Rownd with James Martin & Edward Rownd
both of the County af.d Gen.t his securitys all present herein Court in their
proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto His Lordship the
Lord proprietary of the province of maryland in the sum of five pounds Curr.t
money of their goods and Chattles Lands and tennements Joyntly and severally
to be made and Levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors if
it happen that the said James Rownd do and shall not pay unto his said Lordship
fifty shillings Curr.t money of maryland for ever year he shall keep such
ordinary or house of entertainment &.c  Likewise the said James Rownd with
James Martin and Edward Rownd his securitys af.d all present herein Court
in their proper persons af.d  Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his
Lordship the Lord proprietary in the sum of forty pound Curr.t money of maryland
of their goods and Chattles Lands and tennements Joyntly and severally to the
use of his said Lordship his heirs and successors to be made and levied  If it happen
that the said James Rownd do not keep good rules and orders and do suffer Idle
loose and disorderly persons to tipple game or Commit disorders or other Irregularities
in his ordinary or house of entertainment dureing the time that he shall
keep the same Contrary to the true intent and meaning of the act of assembly
