                                    Att a Court of the Right of Honourable Charles absolute Lord and
                            Proprietary of the provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of
Baltemore &.c held for Somerset County in the Court house at dividing Creek in the Same County
the third Tuesday of August to witt the Sixteenth day of the Same month Ann Dom One thousand
seven hundred and thirty Seven by the said Lord Proprietary's his Justices the
peace in the Same County to keep assigned of whom were present

To the Worshipfull Bench now in Court sitting  The petition of William Walton
Humbly Sheweth that your petitioner having an old negro man named Gloster aged                                                              
Seventy or their abouts and very lame and decriped unable to do any Service desireth Your
worship make take it into your Consideration and set him Tax Free and your petitioner always
in duty bound to pray
                                            The petition afd being read and heard and fully understood
and mature deliberation thereupon and Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here
that the afd William Walton be discharged for the future from paying of Taxes for the
afd Negro Gloster as by the petition afd is praid &c

          To the Right Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County now assembled the
Humble petition of John White     Humbly Sheweth that your petitioner having
a tract of Land in the afd County Called by name Buckingham and being desireous to ascertain
his bounds which are very much decayed humbly beggs that your honours will take it
in Consideration and order to appoint Commissioners to Examine Wittnesses Concerning the said
Bounders and in so doing your petitioner as in duty bound shall pray

    The petition afd being read and heard and fully understood and Mature deliberation thereupon
