88 Ordered by the Court here that Cap.t Edward Rownd be allowed and have and order on the sheriff of Somerset County for three pounds Curr.t money of maryland he producing herein Court the third best peice of &c
Seven hundred and thirty six to answer unto Ezekiell Wise of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c and that thereof he should not fail &c Att which day here here before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset at dividing Creek Came the said Ezekiell Wise by George Douglas his attorney and the Sheriffe of the Same County to witt Joseph MaClester Gent at the same day here returned that he had taken the afd Adam Brafford whose body here at this day he had ready to answer unto the afd Ezekiell of the afd plea as to him it was Commanded &c And the said Adam Brafford by William Beckingham his attorney Came hereinto Court and thereupon at the request of the parties day is given unto them to ^be^ before the Justices of his Lordship County Court of Somerset at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of March then next following In the state wherein they now are Saving to the parties afd &c Att which day here Came againe as well the afd Ezekiel Wise as the afd Adam Brafford by their attorneys afd And here upon the same Ezekiell Wise declared against the same Adam Brafford in the plea afd in form following vizt Somerset County ss Adam Brafford Late of Somerset County Taylor was attached to answer unto Ezekiell Wise of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c And whereupon the said Ezekiell by George Douglas his attorney Complaines that whereas the said Adam on the day of Ann Dom seventeen hundred thirty and at the County afd was and still is a taylor and whereas the said Adam in Consideration that he the said Ezekiell then and there did assume to pay to the said Adam as much as he should reasonably deserve for making a by Cont and did then and there deliver to the said Adam as Cloath and triming for the said Cont four yards and One halfe Yard of Kersey of the value of twelve Shillings and Six pence Curr.t money of Maryland each yard and four yards of Shelloon of the Value of three shillings and six pence of Like money Each Yard and two dozen of Coat buttons of the Value of one Shilling and tenn pence halfe penny of Like money Each doz.n and One dosen of Small Buttons of the Value of One Shilling of Like money and One hank of Silk of the Value of One Shilling and three pence of Like money and two Sticks of ^mo^hair of the Value of six pence Like money Each stick and One Yard of Cors Linnen of the Value of One Shilling and Eight pence of Like money upon him selfe |
