    June Court                  1737                    52

Right honourable the Lord proprietary for her fine by the Court here upon her Imposed for and by
Occasion of the premisses afd whereof in form afd she is Convicted thirty Shillings Curr.t Money of Maryland
(to the use of the County afd) and that the said Mary Gloster be taken to Satisfie his Said Lordship
of the fine afd &c             Whereupon it is ordered by the Court here that the afd Mary Gloster Give
Security for the payment of the Severall Officers Fees due by means of the Indictment aforesaid &c

Thereupon a Certain David Cordery of Somerset County planter present herein Court in his proper
person undertakes for the said Mary Gloster and acknowledged himselfe Indebted unto his Lordship the
Lord proprietary in the Sum of five hundred pounds of tobacco of his body Goods or Chattells Lands
and tenements for the Use of the Severall Officers that hath a right to any Fee or Fees on the Inditm.t
afd by means of the premisses afd  In Case the Said Mary Gloster doe and Shall not pay and
satisfie unto the Severall Officers their Just Fee or Fees as afd by means of the premisses afd on the
Indictment aforesaid &c   Likewise the Said Mary Gloster is ordered to Give Security to Save &
Keep Endempnified the Justices of Somerset County and their Successors from all Costs Charges
and Burthens that might accrew by means of the birth of the Child afd &c

          Whereupon the said Mary Gloster with the afd David Cordery her Security both present
herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord
proprietary in thirty pounds Sterling good and Lawfull money of England of their bodys Goods &
Chattells Lands and tenements to the Use of the Justices of the County afd and their Successors to
be made and Levied  If it happen that the said Mary Gloster her heirs Executors or administrators
or any of them doe and Shall not from time ^to time^ and at all times hereafter acquitt discharge
and Save harmless as well the Justices of Somerset County afd and their Successors for the
time being as also the Inhabitants of the Said County of and from all Costs Charges troubles
and Incumbrances whatsoever for or by reason of the Birth Maintainance nourishing and
bringing up of the said Child and of and from all other Suits Charges troubles and demands
whatsoever touching or Concerning of the Same &c
