whose body he had here ready to answer his said Lordship as aforesaid he was Commanded and the
said Sheriffe at the same day altho Solemnly Called brings not in the body of the afd Alexander
Thornes according to the return of the writt afd but makes default &c  thereupon it is said by the
Court here unto the afd Sheriffe that unless he bring the said Alexander Thornes before the Justices of
his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of March then
next following to answer &c he the said Sheriff should be then & there amerciaed for his default Forty
Shillings Curr.t money and the Severall Officers their Fees due by means of the premisses afd &c

       Att which day here at dividing Creek aforesaid the Said sheriffe altho Solemnly Called brings
not in the body of the said Alexander Thornes but makes default &c

    Wherefore it is Considered that the afd Joseph Macclester be Amerciaed to his Lordship
his reason of his default aforesaid forty Shillings Currant money of maryland and Likewise
that he pay unto the Severall Officers their Just Fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd &c


For as much as Charles Persons Late of Somerset County planter had not burnt so much tobacco as by
Law he was Obliged to burn but was Willing to pay his fine for the same &c            Wherefore it is Considered
by the Court here that the afd Charles Persons be fined to his Lordship for and ^by^ reason of the
premisses afd Forty Shillings Currant money of Maryland &c


       Whereas there was formerly an order of Court for a passable way on the Backside of Capt
John Handys now dwelling plantation to the ^presbitarian^ meeting house but for Some Ill conveniency's it is
order now here by the Court that the said passable way be Stopt and that the way to the ^said^ Meeting
house be along the County road down to the ferry and from the Same Ferry thereon Capt John Handys
Old feild to the said Meeting house &c


Upon the petition of John Barnes a poor person for an allowance to Support him in this his poor
Condition the premisses Considered it is ordered by the Court here that Coll George Dashiell and Capt Thos
Gillis agree with some person or persons for the keeping and finding and maintaining the said Barnes
with all Such Necessarys as may be Sufficient for the Support of the said Barnes and they to be allowed
for the Same next Levey Court &c


Ordered by the Court here that Planner King recover against James Anderson Sixty pounds of tobacco for his
attendance two days as an Evidence on behalfe of his Lordship against the said James Anderson he having made
oath to the Same &c


    Ordered by the Court here that George Denwood recover against James Anderson Ninty pounds of tobacco
    being due unto him for his attendance three days as an Evidence on behalfe of his Lordship against the
    Same James Anderson he having made Oath to the Same &c
