June Court                      1738                284

Donock Denis or his foresaids shall well and truely pay or Cause to be
paid unto John Bishop above said the full and Just sum of fifty pounds
in Species hereafter mentioned vizt seven pounds in Silver or
Gold by the tenth day of february next ensuing the date hereof and
eighteen pounds in Country product by the said ^day and twenty six pounds his Country product by the^ tenth day of Janry next
ensuing the date hereof then this obligation to be void and of none
effect or else to remain in full force power and vertue in Law which
being Read and heard the said Donock says that the said John
his accon thereof against him to have and maintain ought not
because he says at the severall days in the above Condition specifyed
he payed to the said John Bishop the severall sums therein mentioned
vizt at Somerset County according to the force form and effect of
the said Condition af.d and this he is ready to verify wherefore he
prays Judgment if the said John his accon thereof against him
to have and Maintain ought &.a         And the ^afore^said John saith
that he by any thing by the said Donnock in his ^plea^ af.d ^above^ alledged from
having and maintaining his accon af.d against him the said Donnock
to be barred ought not because he saith that he the said Donnock
at the severall days in the Consideration of the af.d obligation mentioned
did not pay to him the said John ^the severall sumes of Money in the said Condition specified which to him the said John^ he ought to have paid
according to the force forme and effect of the Condition of the said
Obligation and that at Somerset County af.d as the said Donnock
in his plea af.d above ^hath^ alledged and this he prays may be Inquired
of by the Country &.a
                                             Whereupon the parties afd present here in Court
in their proper personas Submitted the dispute in the action afd between them to the
award of James Martin and Edward Rownd of Somerset County Gent according
to the form of the Statute and agreed that they make their award in the premisses
