the County af.d by his certain writing obligatory which the said William sealed with
the seal of the said Mordecai hereinto Court brings whose date is the day and year
af.d did acknowledge himself to be held and firmly bound unto the said William in
the said sum of eighteen pounds Currt money of maryland to be paid to the said
William his certain attorney Ex.rs and adm.rs when he should be afterwards thereof
required  Nevertheless the said Mordecai the said eighteen pounds to the said
William hath not rendred or him for the same in any sort contented but the same
to him to render hath denyed and still doth deny and unjustly detain altho
thereto afterwards to wit on the day and year last af.d at the County af.d
and often since that time by the said William required whereupon he says
he is damnifyed twenty pounds Currt money of maryland and thereof he brings
suit &.a                                                               Pledges &a J Doe & R Roe

And the af.d Mordecai Badson by George Douglas his attorney comes and defends the
force and Injury when &a  and saith that he Cannot deny the action af.d of the af.d
William Porter Junr nor but that the writing obligatory af.d is the deed of the same
Mordecai Badson nor but that he oweth the same William Porter Jun.r the af.d
eighteen pounds Currt money in manner and form as the af.d William Porter Jun.r
above against him declared

    Therefore it is Considered that the af.d William Porter Jun.r recover against
the af.d Mordecai Badson his debt af.d and his damages by occasion of the detention
of the same debt to Two hundred and seventy five
275                  pounds of tobacco to the same William of his assent by the Court
here adjudged and the af.d Mordecai Badson in mercy &a

that he Should take John Baker Late of Somerset County
planter if he should be found in his bailywick and him
should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships
County Court of Somerset to be held at deviding Creek in the same County the third tuesday
of march Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty six to answer unto
