had granted himself to be held and firmly bound unto the af.d James Russell
and John Buckanan in the af.d sum of one hundred twenty one pounds eleven

the af.d Allot Spolding altho' often required the af.d sum of money or any part

defendeth the force and Injury when &a and saith that he Cannot Deny the

obligatory af.d is the deed of the same Allot Spolding nor but that he
oweth the same James Russell and John Buckanan the af.d one hundred
and twenty one pounds ^Eleven shillings^ good and Lawfull money of Great Brittain in manner
and form as the af.d James and John above against him declared
