21 the said Sarah is forced to expend Whereupon the said Thomas and Sarah say they are worse and have damage to the value of one hundred pounds Curr.t money of Maryland and thereupon they bring suit &c Pledges &c John Doe & R Roe And the aforesaid Abraham Mannering and Comfort his wife by George Douglas their attorney come and defend the force and Injury when &c and ^pray^ Leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill the third Tuesday of June then next following and they have it and the same day is Given to the afd Thomas Fletcher and Sarah his wife here also &c Att which day before the Justices of his Lordships COunty Court of Somerset at dividing Creek Came againe as well the afd Thomas Fletcher & Sarah his wife as the afd Abraham Mannering and Comfort ^his wife^ by their attorneys afd And whereupon the same Abraham and Comfort pray further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill the third Tuesday of August ^then^ next following & they have it & the Same day is given to the afd Tho.s and Sarah here also &c Att which day before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset at dividing Creek came againe as well the afd Thomas Fletcher and Sarah his wife as the afd Abraham Mannering and Comfort his wife ^by their attorneys afd^ and whereupon the said Abraham and Comfort pray further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill The third Tuesday of November then next following and they have it and the Same day is Given to the afd Thomas & Sarah here also &c Att which day before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset at dividing Creek came here againe as well the afd Thomas Fletcher & Sarah his wife as the afd Abraham Mannering and Comfort his wife by their attorneys afd And whereupon the Same Abraham and Comfort pray further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill the third tuesday of March then next following & they have it and the same day is given to the afd Thomas and Sarah here also &c Att which day before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset at dividing Creek Came againe as well the afd Thomas Fletcher and Sarah his wife as the afd Abraham Mannering and Comfort his wife by their attorneys afd And whereupon the same Abraham and Comfort as before defend the force and Injury when &c and say that the said Comfort is not Guilty of the premisses above upon her Imposed in manner and form as the said Thomas and Sarah above against her have Complained in manner and form as the said Thomas and Sarah above against her have Complained and of this they putt themselves upon the Country and the afd Tho.s and Sarah in Like manner Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriffe of Somerset County that Immediately he should Cause to Come here before the afd Justices Twelve &c by whom &c and who neither &c to recognize &c because as well &c and Immediately Came thereof the Jury &c and the Jurors of that Same Jury by Joseph Macclester Gent Sheriffe of the County afd to this Impannelled being Called Came to witt Nicholas Fountain Joshua Sturges |
