Jonathan Hooffington appointed Overseer of the Roads in Nanticoke hundred instead of William Polson for
the Ensuing Year &a

                  To the Worshipfull Justices of the peace of Somerset County now
sitting the Humble petition of George Trewitt Humbly sheweth that your petitioners
Land or plantation is damnified by a Certain Road and desireth your worships
       Leave to turne the said Road about a Quarter of a Mile which I hope will be no Determent to any persons
       and your petitioners as In Duty bound shall Ever pray

                   The petition aforesaid being read and fully understood   Therefore it is Considered by
the Justices here that Cap.t John Smith Capt Edward Rownd & Capt Charles Rackliffe view the
new road made by the said George Trewitt or give any other directions for the said George Trewitt
for the turning of the said road as they may think more proper and they to make their report
thereof to June Court next &a

                           Thomas Wise Mathew Hopkins and Samuel Hopkins
Jun.r all of Somerset County in the province af.d Gent are Holden and
firmly bound unto Anna Richardson John Richardson Tabitha Richardson Samuel Richardson
and David Richardson orphans of William Richardson dec.d in the full and just sum of Eighty
four pounds and fourteen shillings Current money of Maryland to be paid unto the said Anna
John Tabitha Samuel and David Richardson their heirs Executors administrators or assignes to
the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind our selves our and either of our
heirs Ex.rs and adm.rs for the whole and in the whole Jointly and severally firmly by these presents
sealed with our seals and dated this 24th day of March Ann Dom 1737

The Condition of the above obligation is such that Whereas the Commissary Genll hath
transmitted unto this Court the account of the Estate of William Richardson dec.d wherein it is
found that their is ball due to the above said orphans the sum of Fourty Two pounds & seven
shillings Curr.t money of Maryland therefore if the above said Thomas Wise his heirs Exrs or
Administrators shall and do well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the above said orphans
the aforesaid sum of forty two pounds and seven shillings According to Act of Assembly
and the deceaseds will when they shall arive at full age to receive the same &a then
the above obligation to be void and of none effect otherwise to remain in full force
