Jarrot Wiley
Lycence & recognizance
    Jarrott Wiley late of Somerset County Inholder Came here into
Court in his proper person and prays that he may have the Liberty
                         of keeping an Ordinary or house of Entertainment at his house at broad
Creek in Somerset County for the Use and Conveniency of the Inhabitants Travellers
and Strangers as to them respectively shall Seem meet which is by the Court here unto
him Granted he giving Security according to act of assembly in such Case made and
provided &.a   Whereupon the said Jarrott Wiley with Robert Givan and Allen Gray
his Securitys both of the County afd planters all present herein Court in their proper
persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary
of the province of Maryland in the Sum of five pounds Curr.t Money of their goods &
Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use of his said Lordship
his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied  If it happen that the said Jarrot
Wiles do not pay unto his said Lordship or his agent or factor fifty Shillings Current
money of Maryland for every year he shall keep such ordinary or house of Entertainm.t

       Likewise the said Jarrott Wiley with Robert Givan and Allen Gray his securitys afd
all present herein Court in their proper persons as afd acknowledged themselves
Indebted unto his said Lordship the Lord proprietary in forty pounds Curr.t money
of Maryland of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally
to the Use of his said Lordship the Lord proprietary his heirs and Successors to
be made and Levied   If it happen that the said Jarrott Wiley do not keep good rules
and orders and do suffer Idle Loos and disorderly persons to tipple game or
Committ disorders or other Irregularities in his ordinary or house of Entertainment
during the time that he shall keep the Same Contrary to the true Intent & meaning of the
act of assembly in such Case made and provided &a

The Petition of John Farlow Most Humbly sheweth That whereas your
petitioner being possest of tract of Land lying and being on the south side Wiccocomoco
river Called Coxes Advice the bounders thereof being some what Precarious your petitioner
Humbly prays your Worships to Appoint Commissioners to Examine Evidences on the
