in his bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before
the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at deviding
Creek the third tuesday of August Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred
and thirty seven to answer unto Thomas Nevett of a plea of trespass upon
the Case &a      Att which day here before the Justices of his Lordships County
Court of Somerset at deviding Creek Came the af.d Thomas Nevett by
Robert Jenckins Henry his attorney and the sherriffe to witt John Henry
Gent at the same day here returned that he had taken the af.d William
M.ccClemmey whose body hereat this day he had ready to answer
the af.d Thomas Nevett of the af.d plea as to him it was Commanded

Whereupon Came hereinto Court before his Lordships Justices
at deviding Creek William Turpin Jun.r of Somerset County planter
in his proper person and undertook for the af.d William M.ccClemmey
and assumed upon himself (Likewise the said William) Macclemmey
present herein Court in his proper person assumed upon himself
that if ^it^ should happen that Judgment in the plea af.d should be rendred
for the ^afd^ Thomas Nevett against him the said William M.ccClemmey
or that he the said William should be therein Convicted that
then he the same William should pay and satisfy unto the same Thomas
Nevett the Judgment of the Court thereupon or render his body in execution
of such Judgment to the prison of the sherriffe of the County af.d thereto
remain untill the same Judgment be fully satisfied or that the same W.m
Turpin Jun.r will do the same for him &.a         And Whereupon the
same William M.ccClemmey puts in his place George Douglas Gent attorney
at Law against the afd Thomas Nevett of the af.d plea  Whereupon
at the request of the parties day is given to the parties af.d here before
His Lordships Justices at deviding Creek untill the third tuesday of November
then next following in the same state as at present saving to the parties &a
